Emily Tobiason is a journalism major and the KCPR Content Director for the 2023-24 academic year. She got into journalism because she always found a lot of joy in getting to know people and hearing their stories. She also always enjoyed writing, and quickly fell in love with journalism during her first year. She joined MMG and KCPR to gain real-world experience in the industry, and says it has been unbelievably rewarding. From developing her people skills to expanding her writing portfolio, she says she has grown a lot during her time in MMG. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, crafting, rewatching my favorite TV shows and shopping.
