Thursday, Sept. 24
This virtual event will take place at 3pm!
This event is hosted by Bonnaroo since the actual festival can’t be held this year. They are live streaming old sets and live content all weekend long. It kicks off Thursday featuring sets from the Beastie Boys, Denzel Curry, and Jack White.
Friday, Sept. 25
This is the second day of Bonnaroo’s virtual festival and features shows from Metallica, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.
Apart of the Philly Music Fest, this SLO favorite band is taking the stage Friday night.
Fitz and the Tantrums Livestream
This is a live stream event that is accompanying the band’s live performance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater.
“Unhinged”/”Baby Driver” Double Feature
Every week the Sunset Drive-In projects a double feature, and from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1 the Russel Crowe and Ansel Elgort box office hits are it.
Since Covid-19 hit many venues are looking to adapt and still feature live music. In Ventura, Ca, they are hosting drive-in concerts and movies. On Friday, the Latin Hip-Hop group is taking the stage for people to enjoy from the comfort of their cars.
Saturday, Sept. 26
The final day of the festival concludes with performances by The White Stripes, Run the Jewels, and Big Gigantic.
Another virtual festival to fill your weekend! Hosted to raise money to help keep family farms thriving, this year the festival is featuring sets from Norah Jones, Neil Young, and Willie Nelson and The Boys.
Best of Pitchfork Music Festival
This music festival is virtual and in person. A drive-in show is being hosted for those in the Los Angeles area and the event is also being live-streamed. Some of the featured acts are Carly Rae Jepson, FKA Twigs, Grimes, and LCD Soundsystem.
This band is going the extra mile and perform TWO sets Saturday night for the Ventura concerts in your car series. If you can’t make the 5:30 show, don’t worry. They’ll be back at 8:30.
Sunday, Sept. 27
The Super Sunday Swap Meet is a weekly event hosted at the Sunset Drive-In in San Luis Obispo. Buyers and sellers are welcome, masks are required, and food vendors are open on site.
Wednesday, Sept. 30
Rock On! Marin County’s psychedelic rock scene in the 60s
This is a livestream event hosted by the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art featuring music, photography, and art from famous producers, musicians, and journalists. A highlight of the evening will be an in-depth conversation about late musician Janis Joplin.
