The SLO Jewish Film Festival is a three week long, virtual event hosted by KCBX that showcases films created by local Jewish filmmakers and features independent films that capture the Jewish experience.

Jimmy Eat World Virtual Concert
Jimmy Eat World will be performing their entire album “Surviving” which was released in 2019 and only played once in front of a crowd before the lockdown hit. They also have set dates for performances of their other albums like “Futures” and “Clarity.” You can buy tickets to all three streams or just one. Tickets are $17.50.
Toro’s very own Chaz Bear will be playing a DJ set through Bandsintown Plus, which costs avid concert-goers $9.99/month and offers access to a host of other upcoming virtual shows including Fleet Foxes, Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, Local Natives, Phoebe Bridgers, and Soccer Mommy.

The Super Sunday Swap Meet is a weekly event hosted at the Sunset Drive-In in San Luis Obispo. Buyers and sellers are welcome, masks are required, and food vendors are open on site.

Los Osos and Baywood Park Farmers Market
This is a reoccuring farmers market every Monday from 2pm-6pm at Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce.
It is absolutely necessary to prioritize our personal wellness during these times. Dan Petrie, a San Francisco-based certified mindfulness facilitator is hosting a weekly class designed to help attendees mitigate stress and anxiety, improve sleep, increase empathy and compassion and promote general well-being. There is a suggested donation of $10-$20 to participate but nobody will be denied this class if they are unable to donate.

The North Country Farmers market is held at Downtown City Park in Paso Robles every Tuesday from 3pm to 6pm. No need to stress about having cash because this farmer’s market accepts EBT, credit and debit cards.
The Cal Poly Music Department will present Bach Week from Tuesday through Saturday, Jan. 19-23
