Strange Days – The Struts

This is the first time the album “Strange Days” is going to appear on vinyl, since it was released last year during the pandemic and took the band only ten days to record. It is the band at their most experimental and includes various featured artists. This RSD exclusive is pressed on a clear vinyl and includes a poster.

Regimental Sgt. Zippo – Elton John 

This release was John’s debut album that never came to be. “Regimental Sgt. Zippo” was supposed to be released in 1968 but was ultimately shelved. Now it is going to be available for the first time June 12 for Record Store Day – 53 years later. 

Don’t Judge a Song by its Cover – K. Flay

K. Flay is one of my favorite artists and, with this RSD release, she is covering three 90s’ classics. I am excited to hear her spin on Green Day, Limp Bizkit and The Offspring. 

Chromatica – Lady Gaga

What can I say, Gaga will always have my heart. This version of her sixth studio album, which was released last year,  will be available with a 28 page book, a collectable zine and never before seen Gaga images and artwork. The pressing itself will be on an exclusive translucent yellow vinyl. 

New Age Norms: 1 + 2

Cold War Kids announced in 2019 an album trilogy, and the first two – “Complainer” and “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now” – have already been released. This RSD selection includes the vinyls for these two sets (and will be the first ever vinyl pressing for “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now”) and will also include four bonus tracks and a limited edition poster. New Age Norms 3 is slated to come out later this year.
