Pisces Season Playlist
We are now entering pisces season, which means it’s time to turn into our worst idealistic selves, get caught up in all of our mental hypothetical scenarios, and end up crying a decent amount, so strap in.
Here are some songs to let those tears fall:
- Graceland Too – Phoebe Bridgers
My pisces roommate suggested Phoebe Bridgers for this playlist. All Bridgers’ music is so sad and since this was suggested by a pisces, it’s double as sad.
- Caroline Says II – Lou Reed
This song literally makes me curl into fetal position every time I listen and Lou Reed is a pisces
- Hospital – The Modern Lovers
This is an absolutely, mind-numbingly, sad song and I usually listen to it when I have a mental breakdown cigarette on the curb.
- Last Words of a Shooting Star – Mitski:
Yeah, I listened to this on loop for like three hours once and I never emotionally recovered.
- Shattered Dreams – Earl Sweatshirt:
This is another great track from a pisces and Sweatshirt’s unique flow is one of his standouts.
- Summertime – Orville Peck:
Peck’s haunting vocals are the perfect backdrop to sob to while you’re on a walk at sunset.
- Blue – Joni Mitchell:
This is literally one of the best songs of all time, from one of the best albums of all time, and I’m listening to it right now. Oh god. It’s so good, but at what cost mentally?
- I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know – Blood, Sweat & Tears:
Obviously, the title of this track is very pisces energy, because they’re literally so dramatic about everything, but this song will open your third eye.
- Trouble, Heartaches & Sadness – Ann Peebles:
Again, the title of the track is very self-explanatory and, unfortunately, an indicator of the vibes of pisces season.
- Almost Cut My Hair – Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young:
There is a trend here and it’s that 70’s folk rock makes me cry (see “Blue” by Joni Mitchell).
