Phase II Transmission of the Desert Daze Lineup Has Arrived
Desert Daze is moving to beautiful Moreno Beach at Lake Perris, California, bringing psychedelic tunes, art, and adventurers.
Their 2018 lineup is sure to excite, especially following the brand new Phase II Transmission.
Here are some highlights picked out from the newly announced lineup.
Jarvis Cocker
Hailing from Yorkshire, England, Jarvis Cocker is an icon of the Britpop genre. Former lead man of the Pulp, he has since taken on solo work following their hiatus. He’ll be sure to deliver on the post-punk, Britpop sounds we know and love.
Hinds
KCPR is fond of Hinds – their interview was featured on the front page of our magazine, BURNT. Hinds is a fully-female indie rock band from Madrid, Spain, and their songs are consistently filled with upbeat spirit.
Bedouine
Syrian-born Azniv Korkejian has burst out onto the indie-folk scene this past year with her self-titled 2017 release. On her website’s about page, she describes her sound as “Sixties folk meets seventies country-funk with a glimmer of bossa nova cool.”
Wand
Based in Los Angeles, this psychedelic, garage, noise rock band will also be trekking out to the desert this October. They are sure to deliver jams as equally trippy and psychedelic as their minimalist, surrealist, Geocities-esque website.
The lineup for the 2018 Desert Daze is stacked, and there are still more to come.
