Sunny Afternoon – Benny Sings

Benny Sings’s new album “Music” features Tom Misch, Mac Demarco, KYLE, Cautious Clay, Emily King and Peter CottonTale on a handful of tracks. The Amsterdam artist has a knack for creating warm and magnetic pop songs with melancholic undertones. “Sunny Afternoon” seems like a carefree song about a joyful day; meanwhile, it explores handling that lovely day without the person who makes life beautiful.
World is Fucked – WizTheMc

WizTheMc’s music constantly projects immaculate vibes that make you have a good time and feel carefree. His new single features electric guitar instrumentals and an upbeat rhythm that, overall, make it a catchy, fun song
Give Me Novacaine (Green Day Cover) – Kelsy Karter

Compared to Green Day’s version, Karter’s take on the song is like honey. It is smoother and less gritty, which doesn’t detract from the piece, but almost allows for a new perspective on it. It is a part of her new cover project “Songs from Nowhere” that will come out on May 7.
Nobody But You – Sonder, Jorja Smith

The group Sonder, that consists of Brent Faiyaz, DPat and Atu, has come out of their two year hiatus to release this beautiful yet heartbreaking song. Smith’s soft yet powerful vocals compliments Faiyaz’s to create a song that will make you long for a past relationship whether you’ve had one of not.
Shy Away – Twenty One Pilots

Shy away is a simple, easy to listen to, pop melody with elastic guitars. This song is the lead single for their sixth studio album, “Scaled and Icy.” It is different than anything the band has put out before and has a more upbeat electronic pop style to it.
Mr. Perfectly Fine (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)- Taylor Swift

Swift dropped her re-recordings of her album “Fearless” on April 9th, and it included some unreleased songs from her Fearless era, such as this one. The song touches on how it feels to be the one that’s not okay after a breakup when your ex is just perfectly fine.
Durag Anthem – Navy Blue

This is yet another breezy hip-hop track from Navy Blue, that is underscored by mellow keys and a swaying drum pattern. “Durag Anthem” continues the lineage of self-embrace established in Navy’s recent album, but with a much more laid back demeanor that could either fade into the background of an early morning or soundtrack a meditative warm afternoon.
Sociopath – Olivia O’Brien

O’Brien takes the pain of being hurt by someone who has no regard or empathy for the way that they treated you and turns it into an unapologetic anthem. From the horror-inspired sound to the intoxicating lyrics, this is O’Brien’s edgiest track to date.
John L. – Black Midi

Black Midi is back with their wacky take on post punk they are known for. If you’re into noise rock mixed with influences from artists such as Primus and King Crimson, this is the trippy track for you.
North Star – Tyler Shaw
Recommended by: Nicholas Slater
“North Star” is a nice bop where Shaw sings about the usual struggle of being lost but, looking out to see a light that can be followed, so you can find your way. It gave warm feelings to keep moving forward.
CLOVES – The Blossom

The Blossom’s new EP, “97 Blossom,” dropped earlier this week with “CLOVES” as the final track. It is a cute song that is uplifting but not too animated.
