Libra season songs

Now that virgo season has officially come to an end, we can take a collective deep breath and embrace the easygoing energy that accompanies libra season (September 23 – October 22). A new zodiac season lets me switch up my music rotation and to celebrate (or mourn), I have compiled a list of ten tracks that embody libra energy: flirtatious, dramatic, imaginative and incredibly indecisive.

 

1.“Ex-Factor” by Lauryn Hill

This track was written in response to Lauryn Hill’s break up with Wyclef Jean, a libra man, and is therefore a warning against the sign.

 

2. “Zombies” by Childish Gambino

While this track doesn’t necessarily embody what it is to be a libra, Donald Glover is a libra himself and this track has really beautiful instrumentals and vocals.

 

3. “Feel Like a Fool” by Kali Uchis

 Libras are clowns.

 

4. “Lost” by Frank Ocean

Libras tend to get caught up in their imaginations and therefore this track is a perfect accompaniment for this. 

 

5. “Dream a Little Dream of Me” by The Mamas & The Papas 

Libras like it when everyone falls in love with them…

 

6. “I Love You But I’m Lost” by Sharon Van Etten

This song combines both “Feel Like a Fool” and “Lost” energy but in a much sadder way and I think people should cry more often.

 

7. “Shut Up Kiss Me” by Angel Olsen 

The ultimate track that embodies the fact that libras get tired of hearing other people talk for too long because of their short attention span.

 

8. “A Ningún Hombre” by Rosalía

Rosalía is also a libra and delivers exceptional vocals on this song.

 

9. “I Miss My Baby” by Funkadelic

Libras love to cut people off — and then immediately regret it. 

 

10. “October Song” by Amy Winehouse 

Libra season is primarily in October.
