KCPR and the Cal Poly Theatre and Dance Department have collaborated once again to produce an audio play. This year, we have come together to bring you “Ball of the Year,” written by Samantha Occinho. Yet this is not just an ordinary ball, it’s the Ball of THE Year and Bertha and Jane have been invited, somehow again. Hilarity ensues in this sisterly, comedic one-act play that explores how we feel about the way others perceive us.
This audio play was directed by Karin Hendricks-Bolen, produced by Rachel Kupfer-Weinstein, read by Lucie Labreque, Rachel Kupfer-Weinstein and John DeVries and edited by Patrick Blaine. Dialect coaching was provided by Karin Hendricks-Bolen.
