Aries Season Playlist

It’s officially Aries season – the first season of the zodiac calendar. This, and the arrival of spring, means it’s time to grind until Taurus season hits. Then we can all sit around and do nothing.

However, in the meantime, it’s starting passion projects we won’t finish, asserting ourselves and having arguments in our heads (and sometimes aloud). Here are some tracks for that: 

1. Deal Wiv It – Slowthai ft. Mura Masa

This track really embodies the not giving a f*ck vibe, which Aries are all about.

2. Just Another Day – Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is one of my favorite Aries musicians (or musicians in general) and this track is infectiously fun, similar to the personality of an Aries. 

3. Talk – Aminé ft. Saba

 Aries are incapable of shutting up, plus Aminé is an Aries.

4. Birth in Reverse – St. Vincent

 This is a hard hitting track and a little chaotic. It is perfect for Aries season.

5. Sumthin’ Wicked This Way Comes – TLC ft. Andre 3000

 TLC songs are always full of bravado and confidence and I’ve met a lot of Aries with that vibe.

6. Jailbreak the Tesla – Injury Reserve ft. Aminé

 One of my favorite artists, Injury Reserve, dropped this criminally underrated song that just gives off Aries vibes.

7. Smack a B*tch – Rico Nasty

 Literally nothing could be more Aries energy than Rico Nasty yelling at you.

8. HEAT – Brockhampton

Continuing the theme of yelling at people, this track features a bridge with the lyrics “f*ck you/ I’ll break your neck so you can watch your back.”

9. STFU – Rina Sawayama

Sawayama singing over a super grimy guitar instrumental is truly the perfect soundtrack to Aries season.

10. Wells Fargo – Dreamville

This was a submission by my best friend, who is an Aries, after I asked her what song makes her feel like an Aries.
