Apparition Coast’s new single “Hours Away” is here to remind you that you are not alone
Apparition Coast, the alt rock band based in Ventura CA, premiered their debut single “Hours Away” last month.
The three minute song is reminiscent of the California coast with smooth vocals and guitar. The track culminates in an ethereal guitar solo, which is the best part of the song. The swelling chords and plucky notes reminded me of Sublime and Weezer, but with a little more west coast influence.
The catchy refrain “I don’t wanna feel lost again,” at the end of the track resonates with the feelings of the current social climate we’re in. Amidst a time of civil unrest and a pandemic, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and astray. Apparition Coast reminds us that we aren’t the only ones experiencing these sensations.
With their soothing vocals and warm instrumentals, comes a band that knows how to insert their listener right onto the beach at sunset.
Apparition Coast is definitely a band to be on the lookout for and listeners can follow them on instagram @apparitioncoast or on Youtube.
