KCPR is proud to announce that we are hosting a giveaway for a pair of 3-day tickets to the 2022 OutsideLands Music Festival at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California happening August 5th through the 7th!
To enter to win these tickets, follow @kcpr913 on Instagram and tag your music festival buddy in the comments of our RoadMap to OutsideLands Instagram feed post. This is the only thing required to be entered to win the tickets, but we are giving participants the opportunity to win up to 9 extra entries (for a total of 10 entries!)
Here’s what you need to know to collect all the extra entries:
Extra entries will require you to attend events and visit digital checkpoints, where you will either scan a QR or click a link that will take you to a Google form where you will enter your Instagram handle which will be entered in the random drawing as an extra entry when we chose the ticket giveaway winners! Each stop will only allow one Google form submission per person, and therefore only one extra entry per stop.
Listed below are all of the stops and how to complete them:
STOP #1 KCPR @ SHABANG
Visit KCPR’s booth at Shabang Music Festival in Laguna Lake Park in San Luis Obispo, California from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 13th and from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 14th, and scan the QR code on our RoadMap to OutsideLands poster which will take you to the Google form for the checkpoint.
STOP #2 KCPR.org
Visit KCPR.org and read any article on our website to find the RoadMap to OutsideLands ticket giveaway banner ad on the page, which is linked to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
STOP #3 KCPR Breakfast Club
Visit KCPR’s Breakfast Club booth at Dexter Lawn on Cal Poly’s campus from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17th, and scan the QR code on our RoadMap to OutsideLands poster which will take you to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
BONUS ENTRY: Mustang News Ad
Pick up the May print edition of Mustang News (from KCPR’s Breakfast Club booth or in newsstands across campus) and find the RoadMap to OutsideLands ticket giveaway banner, to scan the QR code which is linked to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
STOP #4 KCPR Spotify
Head to KCPR’s Spotify account to find the RoadMap to OutsideLands playlist on our profile, like the playlist, and look in the playlist description for the link to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
STOP #5 KCPR @ ASI Battle of the Bands
Visit KCPR’s booth at ASI’s Battle of the Bands at the UU Plaza on Cal Poly’s campus from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, May 20th, and scan the QR code on our RoadMap to OutsideLands poster which will take you to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
STOP #6 KCPR @ MPU Take Flight
Visit KCPR’s booth at MPU’s Take Flight festival at the Architecture Graveyard on Cal Poly’s campus from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 21st, and scan the QR code on our RoadMap to OutsideLands poster which will take you to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
STOP #7 Listen to 91.3 FM
Listen to KCPR by tuning into 91.3 FM on your radio, KCPR.org media player stream, iHeartRadio, TuneIn app, or wherever you get your radio streaming services and listen for our DJ’s who will be giving out the special link that will take you to Google form for the checkpoint.
STOP #8 KCPR Open Mic Night
Visit KCPR’s Open Mic Night booth at the UU Plaza on Cal Poly’s campus from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesday, May 24th, and scan the QR code on our RoadMap to OutsideLands poster before 7:00 pm which will take you to the Google Form for the checkpoint.
KCPR’s RoadMap to OutsideLands ticket giveaway will close at 7:00 on May 24th, 2022, and winners will be chosen randomly from all of the entries from the Instagram feed post comments that contain at least one @ mention and all of the extra entries from the Google forms from each stop. Only one Instagram comment per user will be considered for entry, but participants are not discouraged from commenting additionally.
Participants will be disqualified from entering to win KCPR’s RoadMap to Outsidelands ticket giveaway if they participate in the following discouraged activities:
- Spamming the comments repeatedly by tagging the same person multiple times
- Using multiple Instagram accounts or email addresses to enter the giveaway and claim extra entries
- Sharing the checkpoint Google forms or links with participants who did not attend the respective event or completed the required digital checkpoint task
- Submitting responses to the checkpoint Google forms or links that have been shared with you without having attended the respective event or completing the required digital checkpoint task
- Current or past employees (employed within one year of giveaway end date) of Mustang Media Group, including KCPR, Mustang News, and Mustang Media Business Team are unable to win the giveaway
