What To Know For Rolling Loud California 2025

For a decade, the Rolling Loud music festival has brought some of the biggest names in hip-hop to stages across the world, from Australia to Miami. This year, it returns to Southern California on March 15-16 at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA. Considered the “world’s largest hip-hop music festival,” Rolling Loud has hosted notable artists like Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Uzi Vert. In early January, the lineup dropped with big names that have dominated the charts and shaped the sound of modern hip-hop. With a mix of rising stars and established icons, this year’s festival is set to bring high-energy performances and unforgettable memories for fans.
The Headliners
A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti will be headlining this year’s Rolling Loud music festival, with Regional Mexican superstar Peso Pluma as a special guest. Other artists like YG, Sexxy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God, Ken Carson, Blxst and Destroy Lonely will also be performing. A$AP Rocky is set for the stage at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, following a performance by Peso Pluma at 7:30 p.m. Known for this musical background in “corridos tumbados” and “corridos belicos” – subgenres of regional Mexican music translating to “trap corridos” and “war ballads” – this is the first time ever a Peso Pluma will touch down at Rolling Loud, making history as the first non-hip-hop artist to ever headline Rolling Loud. Peso PLuma is best known for his songs “Ella baila sola” with Eslabon Armando, and “La Bebe” with Yng Lvcas.
A$AP Rocky has previously headlined Rolling Loud Miami in 2023, and this year he is headlining the first day on Saturday night at the main Gopuff stage. The announcement of his headline came shortly before Rocky was found not guilty of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm on Feb. 15. The three-week trial came after Rocky was accused of firing two shots at a former friend on a Hollywood street corner in 2021, where the rapper’s attorneys argued that only blanks from a prop gun that he had picked up for security for a music video shoot were fired. After the reading of the verdict, Rocky leaped into Rihanna’s arms when he was announced not guilty.
The second headliner, Playboi Carti, also previously headlined at Rolling Loud Miami in 2023, and will now be the one for the second day on Sunday. He is set to perform at 8:30 p.m. on the main Gopuff stage after a set by Ken Carson at 6:45 p.m. Two days before his appearance in Inglewood, Carti released his long-awaited album, “MUSIC,” which fans have been anticipating. “MUSIC” holds 30 tracks with features from Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Skepta, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla Sign and Young Thug. This is Carti’s first album in five years, with his last album being “Whole Lotta Red.” Will Rolling Loud attendees be the first to see “MUSIC” live?
Up and Coming Artists
Rolling Loud not only provides a stage for big-hit artists but also features up-and-coming artists in the hip-hop industry. 17-year-old rapper and songwriter from Virginia, Nettspend, is set to perform on March 15 on the D’ussé stage. He first gained popularity after a snippet of his song “Drankdrankdrank” went viral on Twitter in 2023. Nettspend now has over 850,000 streams on Spotify and is best known for his songs, “Shut Up” and “We not like you.” His only and most recent album “BAD ASS F*CKING KID” was released Dec. 2024.
Another artist making their way to Hollywood Park is Sacramento rapper Stunna Girl. Her music stood out when her 2019 single “Runway” blew up on TikTok and gained 15 million views on YouTube, sparking a viral trend – #RunwayChallenge. The 26-year-old’s music delivers unapologetic, confident bars and messages, rapping about her experiences from the streets of Sacramento to her husband. Stunna Girl has also collaborated with the notable Rich The Kid on their song “Needa Gangsta.” Her Rolling Loud performance will take place on March 16 on the Gopuff stage.
Another performer taking over the stage on March 16 on the D’ussé stage is LA rapper Lefty Gunplay. The rapper was featured on Kendrick Lamar’s song “tv off” off of his 2024 album “GNX,” which did numbers on the charts, eventually getting to the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during its 15-week run. On Wednesday, he released his new single “Sur Walking” with FBEAT, but has made multiple releases this year. “Can’t Get Right,” “Gangsters Get Scared (feat. Wallie the Sensei)” and “Lumbre” are his most recent musical releases.
