Audriix’s breakout single is turning the tables on female scrutiny

Singer/songwriter Audriix, released her newest single “Deep Breaths,” – a resounding pop anthem about female empowerment and standing your ground. 

Audriix proves she has an impressive range between light falsettos in her verses that work in conjunction with a belt worthy chorus. 

She sings of the patronizing and minimizing of women and their emotions throughout her track.

During the chorus her voice rings out as she sings “No more deep breaths/ Don’t tell me to calm down/ If I’m mad then I’m mad/ I’m not sorry for feeling.” 

This sentiment can be felt by women across the board. Audriix’s steadfast position in her emotions reminds listeners not to apologize for how they feel. Women are already subject to so much scrutiny in every sphere and this track is a refreshing turn of the tables.

With her lyrics, Audrixx is emphatic that women should remain unapologetic and recognize the validity of how they feel. This song immediately went onto my empowerment playlist. 

The beat in this song is also incredibly catchy and the listener is tempted to dance around. Her vocals are backed by a consistent bass beat with pop guitar chords that work well to make her voice the focal point of the track.
