Grey’s Anatomy: Season 17
“Grey’s Anatomy” is one of the longest-running and most popular TV series in television history and its season 17 is airing on March 11 on ABC. Starring Ellen Pompeo as the titular Dr. Meredith Grey, the medical drama series focuses on a group of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, who began their careers at the facility as interns. “Grey’s Anatomy” follows the group of doctors and a changing cast of characters as they navigate their jobs and their personal and romantic lives.
The latest installment in National Geographic’s Genius miniseries, Genius: Aretha, will premiere March 21. The long-awaited third chapter in the franchise stars Tony-, Emmy-, and Grammy Award-winning Cynthia Erivo as civil rights activist and Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. This season of Genius will explore Franklin’s musical genius, her incomparable career and the immeasurable impact she has had on music and culture. All eight episodes of Genius: Aretha will be available for streaming on Hulu March 25.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Season 1
The long-anticipated Marvel Studios action-adventure series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/The Falcon and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier. In this six-episode original series, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities, following the events of Marvel Studio’s “Avengers: Endgame.” It will premiere exclusively on Disney + on March 19.
Own the Room
“Own the Room” is a documentary premiering March 12 on National Geographic. It features five college students from various corners of the planet as they take their business ventures to Macau, China in order to compete in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Santosh is from a small farming town in Nepal; Alondra works in a bakery in Puerto Rico; Henry is a programmer from Nairobi; Jason is a marketing student from Greece; and Daniela is an immigrant fleeing the crisis in Venezuela, while studying chemistry at NYU. In the uplifting film, each of the students has overcome immense obstacles – from hurricanes to poverty to civil unrest – as they work to achieve their dreams.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
“Justice League” will premiere on March 18 on HBO Max and it will star Ben Afflack, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, and Gal Gadot. It is the upcoming director’s cut of the 2017 superhero film “Justice League” – the fifth film of the DC Universe and based on the popular DC Comics. The film, which was directed by Zack Snyder, follows the Justice League — Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, and The Flash — as they attempt to save the world from catastrophic threats.
Godzilla vs. Kong
“Godzilla vs. Kong” is the long-anticipated sequel to “Godzilla” (2014) and is the fourth installment in Legendary’s MonsterVerse. “Godzilla vs. Kong” will expand on the mythology of the Titans and deepen the relationship between these ancient mythical monsters and the humans, who now share their planet. It stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry and will be available via streaming on March 31 on HBO Max.
